American Friends of the Prado Museum, a U.S. non-profit organization, operates independently of the Prado Museum.
It is governed by a Board of Directors which holds independent authority and decision-making in carrying out its charitable goals; it also directs how contributions received should be used.
Board members, volunteers, and employees are committed to acting in the best interest of the organization's mission.
